American Family Field, located a short distance from downtown Milwaukee along highway I-94, is home to the Milwaukee Brewers. Previously named Miller Park, the Brewers’ ballpark opened in 2000 is a retractable roof stadium that allows games to take place regardless of the weather.

The upper level of the ballpark provides an overall bird’s eye view of the field.
Ballpark Features

- Bob Uecker Statue
A statue of Bob Uecker sits in the very top row of the upper level behind home plate along with an empty seat wear you can enjoy the game with him.
- Bernie’s Chalet and Slide
The Brewers’ mascot, Bernie, can often be seen during games standing outside his chalet in the upper level left field corner. When the Brewers hit a home run, Bernie celebrates by going down the slide at his chalet.
Foods at the Ballpark

- Wisconsin Cheese Dog
The state of Wisconsin is generally well known for its brats and sausages. Likewise, American Family Field has many choices of hot dogs, brats, and Polish. One of them, the Wisconsin Cheese Dog, a hot dog topped with cheese curds was my choice.

Parking is available in the lots around American Family Field. Parking can be purchased in advance or when you arrive to the ballpark.
While there are no public transportation options to the ballpark, a number of local restaurants offer shuttles to get fans to and from the games.
